Entering Into Rest….
During this past year, as our lives have become markedly different in every area, the only way I personally have found rest in the midst of it all is in truly knowing deep down that God is good, He never leaves me, and His supreme grace is with me through all things, no matter what it looks like. Hence the title, Shalom Grace. I prayed for and was given the grace to give myself grace not to strive, not to try to meet the expectations of man (myself included), and not to judge myself or others. As I have relaxed in meditating on those truths and the grace given, and sought His face in my weakness, I have found His rest. The grace and subsequently the love for myself and for others has grown and is growing daily. Slow breathing, meditating on His goodness, knowing that no matter the pain or the circumstances, He is my delight, my strong tower, my refuge and my strength. Striving, even subconsciously, goes to the wayside as it is fully apparent in my own heart that He is my only answer. Presence and prayer and unwavering trust in His perfect love is my lifeline, my hope, my joy and my strength. That said, I would love to share some of my favorite things for this season. New for me this year is Rodan and Fields. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, Lash Boost! After a few weeks I DEFINITELY noticed a difference in the length and fullness of my lashes and brows.
